    REQUIREMENTS:

    • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management/Accounting, completed within three (3) years.
    • Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in budget and cashflow supervision.
    • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
    • Knowledge of Treasury and Financial Regulations, Public Finance Management Act, and budget compilation and control.
    • Familiarity with cash accounting and internal financial inspections and audits related to budgetary systems.
    • Good managerial skills.
    • Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
    • Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Financial Systems (WALKER and BAS).
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage and control financial management and accounting functions.
    • Compile and control MTEF budgets for the Directorate.
    • Provide professional advice and guidance to regional line functionaries on financial procedures and policies.
    • Manage monthly expenditure and cash flow statements of various programs.
    • Allocate the budget vote effectively.
    • Receive and process audit queries, implementing corrective measures as needed.
    • Prepare regular and management reports.
    • Ensure correct and timely payment of suppliers.
    • Manage and supervise subordinates effectively.
