    Administrator Job Responsibilities

    The Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient handling of administrative and clerical duties. This individual will work closely with the Operations and Payroll departments, assisting with order processing, invoicing, and payroll-related tasks. The primary responsibilities include:

    • Receiving orders from the Operations department and processing them accordingly.
    • Placing orders as required and accurately capturing them into the system.
    • Creating delivery notes and processing them on green sheets.
    • Capturing invoices and ensuring proper document filing.
    • Filing overtime forms and assisting with the submission of wages to payroll on a monthly basis.
    • Following up on clocking system anomalies to ensure payroll accuracy.
    • Compiling night out schedules for approval.
    • Maintaining and updating the office filing system for effective record-keeping.
    • Capturing and updating various records and reports.
    • Preparing monthly diesel reports and following up on outstanding slips.
    • Performing diesel card reconciliations to ensure accurate financial tracking.
    • Monitoring and controlling daily diesel card limits to ensure compliance with company policies.

    Qualifications & Experience Required

    The ideal candidate for the Administrator position must meet the following requirements:

    • Matric / Grade 12 (or equivalent qualification).
    • 2-3 years of experience in an administrative role.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
    • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
