Key Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Engineer at Inpower, you will:
- Design and Implement Solar PV Systems: Collaborate with engineers to design and implement solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This includes ensuring the technical feasibility of projects, optimizing system designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and integrating solutions with existing infrastructure.
- System Analysis and Financial Modeling: Conduct analyses and financial modeling to develop accurate solar savings estimates, return on investment (ROI) assessments, and lifecycle cost analyses tailored to each client’s energy needs and goals.
- Client Engagement: Engage with commercial and sectional title clients by conducting detailed site assessments, gathering technical data, and participating in design meetings. You’ll work closely with clients to ensure project alignment with their needs and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare Technical Documentation: Generate and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, wiring diagrams, equipment schedules, and operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals. This ensures seamless internal coordination and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and operations to ensure effective project execution. You’ll help mitigate risks, solve problems, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Continuously update your knowledge on the latest developments in solar, backup power, and energy storage systems. Stay current with regulatory updates and technological advancements to keep our solutions cutting-edge.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- BEng, BSc, or BTech qualification in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience and Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and energy storage solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and manage projects.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- A solutions-oriented, problem-solving mindset.
- A willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.
Specific Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
- Clear credit, criminal, and health records.
- Solid, verifiable written references from previous employers.

Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday | 08:00 – 17:00
- Flexi-time available between 07:00 and 18:00 (with manager approval).
