    Apply Now!

Applicants must email their complete applications and supporting documents to info@afhco.co.za before the closing date.

    Important Dates and Selection Process

The competition opens for applications on 1 February 2025 at 08:00 and closes on 28 February 2025 at 17:00. Any applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

The selection of the bursary recipient will be conducted through a system-generated random draw, ensuring fairness and transparency. This draw will be externally audited to maintain credibility. The recipient will be chosen in March 2025 and will be notified via email by 25 March 2025.

Once the recipient is contacted, they will have four days to accept the prize. If no response is received within this timeframe, the bursary will be forfeited, and another recipient may be selected. The official announcement of the bursary winner will be made on AFHCO’s online platforms no later than 31 March 2025.

If an applicant has not received any communication by the time of the public announcement, they should consider their application unsuccessful.

    Bursary Award and Conditions

The bursary award is strictly meant for educational purposes and will be paid directly to the educational institution. No cash will be transferred to the recipient, and the bursary cannot be exchanged, transferred, or negotiated for other benefits.

To receive the bursary, the recipient must provide proof of identity through a valid ID book or passport, as well as proof of residence confirming their AFHCO tenancy.
