    This bursary only covers tuition fees and does not include accommodation, textbooks, meals, or other personal expenses.

    Eligibility Requirements

    To qualify for the Africa Wetu Foundation Bursary Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Must be a South African citizen
    • Must be under 30 years old
    • Must be studying full-time for a Master’s degree (MSc in Computer Science/Information Systems) or a Vocational Certificate of Competency (Boilermaker/Fitter & Turner)
    • Must be pursuing the qualification for the first time in 2025
    • Must be studying at UCT, UWC, or Northlink College within the specified fields
    • Must have proven financial need as determined by household income
