    Key Responsibilities

    • Invoice Management: Print pro-forma invoices for allocated patient files and manage them through SAP reports such as billing status, final billing, and discharge reports.
    • Trend Analysis: Review and analyze billing reports to identify negative trends, implement corrective actions, and escalate any issues to relevant departments.
    • Audit Compliance: Conduct regular audits on patient files to ensure accuracy and quality, identify trends, and ensure compliance with company and Medical Scheme standards.
    • Verification Tasks: Verify patient information, medical scheme details, medication usage, surgical movements, treatment categories, and LOS updates.
    • Documentation and Corrections: Document any corrections needed in patient files and ensure they are escalated and resolved by the appropriate departments.
    • Final Billing: Verify the final bill on the SAP system, perform End of Case (EOC) processes, and ensure the accurate maintenance of supplier invoices.
    • Private Patient Management: Handle final bill invoices for private patients, including COID and RAF patients, and forward files to the Collections Department for further management.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience

    • Education: Diploma in Nursing and a finance-related qualification.
    • Experience: 2-3 years in a similar role and position.

    Job Requirements

    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP and the ability to access and interpret various billing reports.
    • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to review, analyze, and use reports as management tools for identifying trends and implementing corrective actions.
    • Attention to Detail: Meticulous auditing of patient files to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
    • Communication Skills: Effective communication to escalate and follow up on trends and deviations with relevant departments.
