The primary purpose of this position is to manage the collection and reconciliation of revenue for services or products provided by the resorts. The role involves ensuring accuracy in cash handling, reconciling receipts, and maintaining a detailed schedule for banking and verification purposes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receive Cash: Accurately handle cash and ensure prompt processing of payments from the public.
- Reconcile Cash: Maintain precise records of total cash received, reconciling all receipts.
- Document and Record Management: Keep well-organized records to ensure compliance with accounting standards and audits.
- Customer Service: Deliver excellent service by addressing customer queries and ensuring a smooth payment experience.
Essential Requirements
To qualify for the position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Education: A Grade 12 certificate with Accounting and/or Mathematics as subjects.
- Experience: At least one year of relevant experience as a cashier.
- Additional Skills:
- Computer literacy.
- Attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and integrity.
- Screening: Successful candidates must undergo a vetting process.
