    Duties & Responsibilities

    As a Finance Intern, you will be involved in various aspects of financial management, including but not limited to:

    • Daily Processing of Purchase Orders: Ensuring all purchase orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
    • Supplier Invoice Processing: Managing the daily processing of supplier invoices to ensure timely payments.
    • Supplier Banking Details: Loading supplier banking details for approval and facilitating smooth supplier payments.
    • Corporate Credit Transactions: Handling the processing of corporate credit transactions.
    • Payment Reconciliations: Preparing monthly or daily payment reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
    • Petty Cash Transactions: Managing the processing of petty cash transactions.
    • BEE Compliance: Assisting in the collection of BEE certificates and updating the supplier database accordingly.
    • Asset Acquisition and Disposal: Overseeing the acquisition and disposal of assets on the D365 system, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to policies.
    • Unidentified Receipt Queries: Assisting in resolving unidentified receipt queries to maintain accurate debtor records.
    • Refund Processing: Assisting in loading bank details for processing refunds.
    • Billing Adjustments: Managing the processing of billing adjustments on the D365 system.

    Requirements

    • Educational Qualification: Matric/Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) with Accounting as a subject.
    • Preferred Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Finance (Advantageous).
    • Experience: No prior experience required, making this an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start a career in finance.
