Requirements:
- Possession of a recognized trade test certificate or trade test report specifically in Bricklaying for the relevant trade.
- Teaching experience and qualifications in education, particularly within the TVET sector, will be advantageous.
- Competency in computer literacy is desirable.
- Additional advantage includes being qualified as a facilitator, assessor, and moderator.
Duties:
- Assist in student registration and conduct student induction procedures.
- Plan classroom activities and prepare and deliver facilitation sessions to learners according to the work plan.
- Conduct practical training sessions in a workshop setting.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, assessments, tests, year marks, and other related administrative duties.
- Uphold discipline among learners within the classroom environment.
- Prepare and manage Portfolios of Evidence (POE) and Portfolios of Assessment (POA).
- Provide monthly reports to the Coordinator or Project Manager using prescribed formats.
- Maintain effective communication and liaison with learners.
- Accompany learners to industry sites for experiential training as outlined in the project roll-out plan.
