Qualifications and Competencies
Qualifications:
- An appropriate undergraduate qualification at NQF level 6 in Computer Science, Information Science, or Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
Experience:
- 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in Information Technology.
Driver’s License:
- A valid motor vehicle driver’s license (excluding persons with disabilities).
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of Public Service Regulations, Acts, policies, and procedures.
- Familiarity with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Effective interpersonal relationship abilities.
- Capacity to perform under pressure.
- Competence in conflict management.
- Skills in policy analysis and interpretation.
- Proficiency in report writing.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with SITA (State Information Technology Agency) to monitor and optimize information technology services.

- Maintain and update IT systems and networks to keep them current and secure.
- Monitor and provide advice on appropriate Information Technology infrastructure to support organizational needs and growth.
