    Role Purpose

    The Momentum Life Skills Development Internship Programme aims to provide administrative and operational support to the Skills Development Manager and the Learning & Performance team. Interns will assist in tracking skills development statistics, maintaining compliance with B-BBEE regulations, and supporting transformation initiatives.

    Requirements for the Programme

    To be eligible for the Momentum Life Skills Development Internship Programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:

    Educational Qualifications:

    • Matric certificate
    • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or a related field

    Experience & Skills:

    • Experience in learnerships, internships, and bursaries
    • Understanding of Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR)
    • Strong administrative and organizational abilities
    • Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Excel proficiency is a must)
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in tracking skills development initiatives
    • Problem-solving ability and the capability to work under pressure

    Key Responsibilities

    Interns participating in the Momentum Life Skills Development Internship Programme will undertake various administrative and operational tasks, including:

    1. Skills Development Administration

    • Providing administrative support to the Skills Development Manager
    • Capturing and maintaining skills development data
    • Ensuring B-BBEE compliance in all documentation

    2. Tracking & Reporting

    • Assisting with the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR)
    • Maintaining accurate records of skills development initiatives
    • Compiling reports and statistical analysis

    3. Transformation Audits & B-BBEE Compliance

    • Coordinating B-BBEE audit meetings
    • Supporting audited divisions with required documentation
    • Compiling portfolios of evidence for transformation audits
    • Submitting reports to relevant stakeholders

    4. Implementation of Skills Development Initiatives

    • Assisting with the rollout of skills development programs
    • Supporting learnership, internship, and bursary programs
    • Ensuring that all training initiatives align with skills development frameworks
