- Have a valid National Senior Certificate (Bachelor’s Pass) with an APS score of 26 or more (excluding Life Orientation)
- Achieved:
- 60% or more in English Home Language, or 70% in English First Additional Language
- 60% or more in Maths Literacy, or 40% in Mathematics
- Are beginning their first year of B.Ed. studies, or are already enrolled in the University of Johannesburg online degree
- Demonstrate financial need
- Have experience working with children, either formally or informally
- Show strong motivation, initiative, and time management skills
- Are open to learning and adapting in a changing educational environment
