Main Responsibilities
As part of Unilever’s structured internship program, selected candidates will:
- Complete all internship tasks, including training attendance, project work, logbook completion, assessments, and presentations.
- Apply the Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS) to improve processes by identifying root causes and implementing lasting solutions.
- Gain mastery in tools such as Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Preventive Maintenance (PM), Quality Control (Q), and Focused Improvement (FI).
- Support and sustain factory improvements through standard setting and process support for line operators.
- Analyse complex production data to uncover hidden problems and improve efficiency.
- Work towards eliminating waste and loss using pillar tools and UMS methodologies.
- Lead and coordinate digital deployment projects that enhance manufacturing consistency and benefit delivery.
- Drive performance-enhancing projects across areas like safety, quality, cost, agility, and customer service.
- Support the UMS and Route to Success (R2S) programs with deployment, governance, and gap analysis.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety rules diligently.

- A completed degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
