The Limpopo Office of the Premier, in partnership with the Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA) and Northern Technical FET College, is offering valuable Learnership Programmes in 2025.
These programmes are designed to give young people practical skills in trades like plumbing, bricklaying, electrical, and carpentry. Plus, there’s even a full-year learnership in construction contracting for those who meet the requirements.

What’s On Offer?
There are two types of programmes available:
1. Short Skills Programmes (3-Month Training)
These are short, focused training sessions that help you learn a trade. Each programme lasts for 3 months and includes a monthly stipend of R1 500 to help with transport and meals.

2. 12-Month Learnership in Construction Contracting (Capricorn District)
If you have Matric (Grade 12), this full-year programme is a great way to gain more in-depth training.
- Number of Posts: 50
- Stipend: R2 500 per month
- Requirements:
- Copy of ID
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
- Proof of residence

How to Apply
To apply, you need to follow these steps:
- Choose the programme available in your district.
- Collect the required documents:
- ID copy
- Proof of residence
- Educational certificates (Grade 9 for short programmes, Matric for learnership)
- Clearly write the reference number on your covering letter.
- Submit your application to the address given for your district.
- Applications must be submitted before 15 April 2025 at 15h30.
Important Notes:
- Late applications will not be accepted.
- Missing documents will disqualify your application.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 30 days.
- You may only apply for the programme in your local district.
