1. Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Internship

- Requirements:
- National Diploma (NQF6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF7) in Environmental Health, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Construction-related Engineering, Occupational Health, Hygiene, Analytical Chemistry, Explosives Management, or Explosives Engineering.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Duties: Interns will assist in workplace inspections, enforcing the Occupational Health and Safety Act, investigating incidents, and providing administrative support.
2. Basic Conditions of Employment (BCEA) Internship
- Total Posts: 3,727
- Monthly Stipend: R7,450.62
- Requirements:
- National Diploma (NQF6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF7) in Labour Relations, BCom Law, LLB, or Labour Law.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Duties: Responsibilities include conducting compliance inspections, investigating complaints regarding violations of the BCEA, and supporting inspectors.
3. Employment Equity (EEA) Internship
- Total Posts: 513
- Monthly Stipend: R7,450.62
- Requirements:
- National Diploma (NQF6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF7) in BCom Law, LLB, or Labour Law.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Duties: Interns will help with Employment Equity Act compliance inspections, investigating complaints, and supporting inspectors.
4. Employer Audit Service (EAS) Internship

- Monthly Stipend: R7,450.62
- Requirements:
- National Diploma (NQF6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF7) in a relevant field.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Duties: Interns will conduct employer audits, ensure compliance with employment laws, and assist in investigations.
