Key Responsibilities
As a firefighter within Fidelity Services Group, your primary role will be to handle fire-related emergencies, conduct fire prevention activities, and provide rescue services. Your duties will also include maintaining firefighting equipment and ensuring the safety of lives and property.
Responsibilities Include:
- Responding to fire emergencies and hazardous incidents.
- Conducting emergency rescue operations.
- Providing first aid and basic medical care at emergency scenes.
- Operating and maintaining firefighting vehicles, equipment, and machinery.
- Participating in training drills, physical fitness programs, and simulations.
- Advising on fire prevention strategies and conducting safety inspections.

Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Educational Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12.
- NFPA 1001 Firefighter II certification (IFSAC Accredited).
Experience:
- 2–3 years of firefighting experience.
- Advanced driving experience (advantageous).
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of fire-fighting systems and fire prevention techniques.
- Hazmat experience and certification.
- EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) certification.
- First Aid (Levels 1, 2, and 3).
Licensing and Fitness:
- Valid Code C1 driver’s license with PrDP.
- Medically and physically fit.
- Clear criminal record.
Core Competencies

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Hazmat guidelines and emergency response protocols.
