Role Overview
The Griller role falls under the operations department and caters to entry-level candidates passionate about food preparation and culinary excellence. The incumbents will prepare and grill large quantities of fast food for the F&B Department, ensuring steady supply and high-quality meals that meet consumer demands. The position requires adherence to strict hygiene and safety standards, with work structured around a shift schedule, including night rotations.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking
- Ensure hygienic and safe food preparation processes in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
- Inspect kitchen workspaces, equipment, and food preparation areas to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Cook ingredients as per menu requirements using the GAAP system, ensuring food is prepared and served on time.
- Monitor the quality of cooked food to maintain the Hollywoodbets standard of excellence.
Stock Management
- Estimate and requisition supplies, ensuring sufficient stock levels based on trends and peak periods.
- Receive, inspect, and sign off on stock, verifying quality and quantity.
- Report stock variances and ensure all food preparation ingredients are accounted for.
Operational Excellence
- Report operational issues such as faulty or damaged equipment.
- Minimize wastage during food preparation while adhering to portion ratios and costings.
- Serve food to waitrons and ensure that dish portions align with GAAP portioning requirements.
Event Preparation & Special Requests
- Assist in prepping for events, ensuring readiness and quality.
- Supervise staff meal orders, ensuring proper sign-offs and adherence to internal policies.
Team Monitoring
- Oversee sanitation practices within the team to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
- Report kitchen breakages and discrepancies to the F&B Branch Manager.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1 year of food preparation experience.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with the GAAP system.
- Stock management experience.

- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
