- Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar tax-related role.
- Preferred Qualifications: A finance-related degree or current pursuit of one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Compliance and Reporting:
- Assist with preparing income tax and provisional tax returns.
- Support SARS and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
- Handle VAT reconciliations and compliance.
- Maintain E-filing profiles and tax clearance certificates.
- Address SARS queries and manage tax-related health checks.
- Financial Support:
- Maintain knowledge of various taxes, including income tax, VAT, PAYE, and WHT.
- Understand and test tax controls and risk management.
