Overview of the IPID Work Integrated Learning Programme
The IPID seeks to fill several vacancies across various provinces for the 2025/2026 period. The placements are specifically designed for TVET graduates with qualifications in Safety in Society at NCV Level 4. The programme provides young South Africans between the ages of 18 and 35 an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a government department while earning a stipend of R4000 per month.

Key Application Information
- Application Deadline: 23 May 2025
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 as of the start date of the placement.
- Required Documents: Applicants are not required to submit copies of their qualifications or other documents at the time of application. However, a fully completed and signed Z83 form, along with a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV), must be submitted.
- Note on Form Z83: It is essential that applicants use the new Z83 form (not the old one). This form can be obtained from any Public Service Department or downloaded from the official government website at www.gov.za/documents.
- Affidavit: An affidavit confirming that you have not participated in a similar programme before will be required for shortlisted candidates.
General Requirements and Process
- Security Vetting: Successful candidates will undergo security vetting, which includes criminal record, citizenship, credit record, qualification, and employment verification checks.
- Disqualification: If applicants have any pending criminal, disciplinary, or other allegations, their application will not be considered, and if already appointed, their position may be terminated.
- Communication: Due to the anticipated high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. If you do not hear from the IPID within three weeks after the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.
