    IT Systems Training & Support Position Purpose

    The primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive IT training on the Broll online system and any other systems used or acquired by Broll Property Management. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all users are proficient in using these systems, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency and productivity of the organization.

    Responsibilities

    1. Effective Training Services and Support for All Users:
      • Conduct training sessions for users on the Broll online system, ensuring that all training materials are up-to-date and relevant.
      • Develop training schedules and organize reports for management on training issues.
      • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the Broll Property Management System and other related systems, including knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and functions.
      • Act as a liaison with users to schedule training, assess if there are any system issues or need for enhancements, and perform regular needs analysis to identify training requirements.
      • Manage change effectively by informing and training users on system enhancements or new developments. Ensure that help features and user manuals are updated accordingly.
      • Provide detailed reports to management on training issues and ensure compliance with ISO procedures.
    2. Professional Relationships with Clients, Vendors, and Outside Contacts:
      • Efficiently track and resolve system problems, ensuring optimal service delivery.
      • Ensure that all deadlines are met and information is conveyed promptly to relevant parties.
      • Maintain logs of all issues, including their causes and resolutions, and promote a positive image of the company.
    3. Effective Working Relationships with Area Staff, Other Departments, and Management:
      • Ensure timely communication regarding the status of support tickets.
      • Maintain accurate records of problem resolutions for future reference, training, and reporting.
      • Collaborate with other departments to provide technical solutions as needed and ensure management is well-informed about significant issues.
    4. Other Related Duties as Required:
      • Assist in installing the correct software versions as needed for the Broll online system.
      • Ensure the work area is clean, secure, and well-maintained.
      • Undertake miscellaneous projects as assigned and keep technical skills updated as necessary.

    Performance Measurements

    • Training workshops are completed effectively and on time according to the schedules.
    • Training sessions successfully impart knowledge and skills to users.
    • Tasks and functions are performed according to established standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Strong working relationships are maintained with users, and any concerns or problems are promptly addressed and resolved.
    • All required reports and documentation are current and complete.
    • Management is well-informed about activities and significant or recurring issues.
    • Excellent working relationships exist within the Information Technology team.

    Requirements

    • Education/Certification:
      • Matric
      • Training in computer hardware, software, and basic networking
    • Required Knowledge:
      • Understanding of PC hardware
      • Knowledge of program applications
    • Experience Required:
      • At least one year of experience in related software and hardware roles
    • Skills and Abilities:
      • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally to Broll regions
      • Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
      • Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of communicating at all levels
      • Ability to assist and train others efficiently
      • Capability to work under pressure and after hours when necessary
