    MANCOSA Procurement Internship Overview:

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with the acquisition of goods and services, ensuring optimal pricing and quality.
    • Prepare purchase orders and coordinate delivery schedules.
    • Evaluate and negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms.
    • Monitor purchase order status to ensure timely delivery.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to maintain effective relationships and manage procurement processes.
    • Assess supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
    • Develop new supplier relationships to diversify the supply chain.
    • Address and resolve any supplier-related issues or discrepancies.
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels to support production and distribution needs.

    Desired Experience & Qualifications:

    • Degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
    • Previous experience in buying or procurement is advantageous.
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Age between 18 and 30.
    • Matric certificate and undergraduate degree qualification (not just a statement of results).
    • Reside in Phoenix, KwaMashu, Ntuzuma, or Inanda.
    • Some experience in supply chain management.
