Job Description
We are excited to announce a vacancy for a Marketing Co-ordinator based at our National Office in Waterfall (Midrand). This role is essential in supporting our Digital Marketing Manager and the marketing team. Key Responsibilities
Marketing Coordination & Digital Marketing:
- Support the Digital Marketing Manager: Assist in various marketing and digital functions, ensuring smooth operations.
- Liaise with Marketing Suppliers: Coordinate and facilitate services, maintaining excellent communication with suppliers.
- Administrative Duties: Handle general administrative tasks, including managing the Digital Marketing Manager’s diary and coordinating meetings.
- Daily Administrative Tasks: Ensure the functionality and coordination of departmental activities, including month-end billing and invoicing.
- Marketing Analytics: Employ techniques to gather important data such as social media metrics, web analytics, and rankings. Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports and questionnaires.
- Project Management: Support in organizing various projects and manage specific marketing portfolio briefs from development to completion.
- Social Media Management: Support social media presence by writing posts, briefing designers for images, ensuring daily and weekly posting and scheduling, monitoring all social media channels, and responding to queries and complaints promptly. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Tasks may extend beyond the listed duties as required by the department.
Competencies Required
- Office Management & Marketing Principles: Good understanding is essential.
- Multi-tasking & Deadline Adherence: Demonstrable ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Organization & Customer-Oriented Approach: Well-organized with a strong customer focus.
- Market Research Knowledge: Proficient in market research techniques and databases.
- MS Office & Online Applications: Excellent knowledge of MS Office and online applications (CRM tools, online analytics).
- Communication & People Skills: Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Education: Minimum of a 3-year Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a relevant field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a marketing environment.
