    Key Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth financial operations, handling essential duties that include:

    1. Daily Sales Orders: Compiling a comprehensive listing of daily sales orders.
    2. Invoice Processing: Accurately processing customer invoices, ensuring correct pricing and quantities are recorded.
    3. Customer Statements: Running and preparing customer statements in line with Pedros’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    4. Customer Support: Addressing and resolving customer queries promptly and efficiently.
    5. Proof of Delivery (PODs): Following up on outstanding PODs and preparing weekly POD files for review.
    6. Supplier Transactions: Processing Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) and supplier invoices, as well as preparing supplier payments.
    7. Electronic Filing: Maintaining an organised and up-to-date electronic filing system and updating departmental registers.

    Required Qualifications and Experience

    Pedros is looking for a candidate who meets the following requirements:

    1. Work Experience:
      • A minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role.
      • Familiarity with Sage 200 Evolution software (2–3 years of experience preferred).
      • Previous exposure to the FMCG, fast-food, or retail industries is essential.
    2. Skills and Attributes:
      • Strong attention to detail with a proven track record in financial administration.
      • Solid understanding of finance functions with a hands-on, proactive approach.
      • Effective communication skills across all organisational levels.
      • Ability to deliver presentations confidently when required.
    3. Competencies:
      • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
      • Problem-solving abilities to address customer and supplier-related issues effectively.
      • Strong knowledge of financial practices and procedures.
