    Requirements:

    • Possession of a basic qualification accredited by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
    • This qualification enables registration with the SAPC as a Pharmacist Intern.
    • Candidates must ensure their qualification meets SAPC accreditation standards.
    • Registration with the SAPC is a prerequisite for applying to the Pharmacist Intern position.

    Skills and competencies:

    • Proficiency in maintaining accuracy and professionalism while working under pressure.

    Responsibilities:

    As a candidate for the Pharmacist Internship, you will play a vital role in providing pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring the safe and effective management of medications. Your primary responsibilities during the Pharmacist Internship will include

    • Leadership and Problem Solving: Demonstrate proactive leadership by taking initiative in resolving challenges.
    • Pharmaceutical Care: Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including evaluating prescriptions, dispensing medications, and educating patients to ensure compliance and therapeutic success.
    • Medicine Supply Management: Effectively manage medicine supply to ensure secure procurement, storage, control, and distribution of high-quality pharmaceuticals.
    • Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Strictly adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and budgetary controls to optimize operations.
