    Standard Bank Risk Agriculture Graduate Programme Objective:

    Credit Evaluation Process:

    • Ensures effective execution of credit evaluation processes to uphold high-quality decision-making within the credit team.
    • Adheres to individual product policies or multiple product policies as applicable.
    • Collaborates with partners to develop lending strategies that proactively manage the bank’s credit risk.

    Credit Risk Lifecycle:

    • Works closely with the Credit Risk Management team to prepare agreements and ensure fulfillment of pre-conditions for loan drawdowns.
    • Manages the release of limits and oversees ongoing compliance with sanctions and conditions post-drawdown.

    Operations Processes:

    • Reviews and ensures the existence of detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
    • Ensures SOPs and SLAs align with credit policies and legislation to maintain compliance.

    Project Management:

    • Participates in projects and undertakes ad-hoc functions as required.
    • Provides support for staff training and enhances customer journeys through effective project implementation.
