    Role Overview: Sales & Bid Assistant

    The Sales & Bid Assistant plays a crucial role within the Business Development team at CBRE Excellerate. This position primarily focuses on Enterprise Facilities Management (EFM) opportunities, with potential involvement in Local Facilities Management (LFM) projects as well.

    Working closely with the Business Development team, the Sales & Bid Assistant will be responsible for developing, solutioning, and preparing tailored bids to meet the unique needs of each client.     Core Responsibilities

    The role of Sales & Bid Assistant is diverse, with responsibilities divided across three main areas:

    1. Bid/Proposal Process (50%):
      • The assistant will manage the end-to-end bid submission process, ensuring each tender complies with all requirements and meets deadlines.
      • Close collaboration with the Business Development team to craft customized proposals that align with the client’s specific requirements is essential.
    2. Administration (40%):
      • The assistant will provide critical support to both the business and tender teams. This includes updating the sales tracking platform, developing a database of case studies, maintaining write-ups, and generating reports as needed.
      • These administrative duties ensure a smooth, efficient bid process and allow for comprehensive tracking and reporting across multiple projects.
    3. Ad Hoc Duties (10%):
      • The role also includes ad hoc responsibilities, such as managing travel arrangements for team members and representing CBRE Excellerate at industry events or company functions.
      • Additionally, the assistant may be called upon to handle specific projects that support the broader goals of the Business Development team.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    CBRE Excellerate is looking for candidates with a minimum of three years of experience in bid or proposal management, ideally within facilities management or real estate services. Successful applicants should bring the following qualifications and skills:

    • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially MS Word, are essential.
