Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting media consultants and account executives (AEs) to ensure the smooth execution of sales operations. Core responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for client queries in the absence of media consultants
- Scheduling and managing appointments for the Media Consultant and assisting in sourcing new clients
- Handling communication regarding confirmations, bookings, and proposals
- Ensuring accurate billing in line with contracts and managing order confirmations
- Following up on advertising material and coordinating client presentations and workshops
- Updating proposals, generating new ideas, and assisting in compiling proposals when needed
- Supporting the implementation of the CRM strategy and maintaining accurate client data
- Collaborating with the Government team to conceptualise and execute strategic initiatives
In addition to administrative support, the Sales Coordinator is expected to maintain consistent communication with clients and internal teams, keep AEs organised, and contribute toward meeting sales targets.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Qualification:
- Matric certificate (Grade 12)
- A tertiary qualification is advantageous
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in general administration or a similar role
