    SEDA Internships Overview

    • Job Title: Intern for Quality & Standards and Technology Transfer (X2)
    • Duration: Twelve (12) Months Fixed Term Contract
    • Reporting To: Manager of Technology Transfer
    • Job Grade: Internship
    • Stipend: R 6 000.00

    • Location: Seda National Office

    SEDA Internships Objective

    • The main purpose of the internship programme is to offer suitable and applicable work experience aligned with the intern’s qualifications.
    • It aims to provide hands-on experience that complements the intern’s academic background.
    • The programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application in the field.
    • Interns will have the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge gained from their studies to real-world scenarios.
    • The ultimate goal is to enhance the intern’s skill set and prepare them for future career opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate small enterprises to assess their suitability for the Technology Transfer Fund (TTF) benefits.
    • Create business cases for presentation to the adjudication panel.
    • Manage the administration of the Technology Transfer Fund on a national scale.
    • Establish and upkeep a precise database related to the fund’s activities.
    • Verify the technology supplied to clients at their premises.
    • Participate in the review of TTF policies and procedures.
    • Analyze the impact of technology interventions on beneficiaries.
    • Facilitate TTF awareness workshops to educate stakeholders.

    Requirements

    • Matriculation along with a three-year tertiary qualification (N6) in Commerce, Project Management, Technology, or Engineering.
    • A Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Commerce, Project Management, Technology, or Engineering is advantageous.
    • Experience is not applicable.
