    Purpose of the Role

    The Administrative Assistant will support the People Management Department by providing comprehensive administrative assistance.     Key Performance Areas

    1. Compliance Administration
      • Maintain detailed documentation of the department’s activities.
      • Ensure strict adherence to company policies and internal standards.
      • Keep updated with organizational goals to promote strong internal control practices.
    2. Office Coordination
      • Monitor and follow up on outstanding matters to ensure timely resolution.
      • Respond promptly to internal and external requests within established timelines.
      • Ensure availability and distribution of departmental stationery.
      • Validate and verify submitted information for accuracy and proper recordkeeping.
      • Manage allocation of reference numbers and capture relevant documents systematically.
      • Handle correspondence with stakeholders and allocate tasks to team members efficiently.

      • Arrange and confirm departmental meetings.
      • Assist in recording and distributing minutes in line with governance standards.
      • Maintain a tracking system for unresolved matters and follow up as necessary.
      • Schedule appointments with stakeholders and manage team diaries effectively.
    4. Document and Records Management
      • Administer records and filing processes in compliance with RAF’s filing plan.
      • Ensure timely retrieval of information and maintain confidentiality.
      • Process documentation by allocating file numbers and recording data accurately in systems.

    Qualifications

    Applicants must possess the following:

    • A Matric or Grade 12 certificate.

    Experience

    Candidates must have at least one year of relevant experience in People Management, Human Capital, or a similar environment.
