    Purpose of the job

    As a Training Administrative Assistant, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation and coordination of training programs.     Key Responsibilities

    The role involves a variety of administrative duties designed to ensure the efficient delivery of training services. Responsibilities include:

    1. Training Communication and Scheduling
      • Disseminating training schedules to relevant stakeholders, covering in-house training, induction programs, wellness initiatives, and systems or process-specific sessions.
      • Serving as a point of contact for communication related to upcoming training sessions.
    2. Training Logistics Management
      • Handling the booking and registration process for employees attending training sessions.
      • Arranging venues, equipment, travel, and accommodation requirements for attendees.
    3. External Training Coordination
      • Liaising with external training providers to ensure smooth implementation of external programs.
      • Managing administrative processes for learnerships, internships, and other developmental initiatives, including recruitment and appointments.
    4. Record Keeping and Reporting
      • Updating and maintaining comprehensive employee training records, including bursary agreements.
      • Assisting in the compilation of monthly training reports and the submission of the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) to the Bank Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA).
    5. Stakeholder Engagement
      • Collaborating with internal facilitators and maintaining relationships with external training providers.
      • Establishing strong connections with various internal business units to align training initiatives with organizational goals.

    Qualifications and Skills

    To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

    Education Requirements

    • Essential: Matric certificate (Grade 12).
    • Preferred: Diploma in Human Resources Development or a related qualification.
    • Advantageous: A degree in Human Resources Development or related field.

    Skillset and Knowledge

    • Essential Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, strong communication abilities, and excellent administration support skills.
    • Desirable Skills: Knowledge of training and development methods, networking capabilities, and report writing skills.

    Additional Advantages

    • A valid driver’s license (Code 8).
    • Familiarity with legislative requirements related to training and development.

    Experience Requirements
