    Beauty Consultant Job Description

    The key objective of this position is to drive sales and create a desirable client experience. You will be the face of luxury brands, providing beauty consultations and helping customers achieve their skincare and beauty goals. The role also requires brand representation through high standards of grooming, product knowledge, and adherence to hygiene guidelines.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Achieve Counter Sales Targets
      • Meet monthly and annual sales goals by driving sales through exceptional customer service.
      • Monitor individual and counter performance, tracking daily and weekly progress.
      • Assist in planning and executing counter events to drive traffic and sales.
      • Provide timely feedback on any sales or counter-related concerns.
    2. Brand Management
      • Uphold the image of luxurious beauty brands by maintaining grooming standards and adhering to uniform policies.
      • Monitor competitor activities and remain aware of in-store ranking.
      • Ensure proper merchandising of stock according to guidelines and maintain hygiene standards at the counter.
      • Track stock levels and report any shortages to the Retail Development Manager (RDM) to ensure product availability.
    3. Client Experience
      • Build meaningful relationships with clients, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
      • Uphold Prestige Cosmetics Group’s high client experience standards by offering tailored beauty consultations.
      • Expand the client database by attracting new customers and retaining existing ones.
    4. Administration
      • Maintain and update client records, including completing progress reports and daily tracking sheets.
      • Submit all necessary paperwork, including client cards and progress reports, to the RDM promptly.
    5. Team Collaboration
      • Work closely with other team members to achieve overall sales targets and event success.
      • Assist with onboarding and training new team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
      • Build and maintain relationships with the retailer, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve key outcomes.

    Requirements

    • A Matric certificate is required.
    • Previous retail experience in beauty, cosmetics, or skincare is highly advantageous.
    • A Certificate in Beauty or Somatology would be beneficial but is not required.
    • Candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a passion for luxury beauty brands.
