    Internship Responsibilities

    The selected Communications Intern – Audio-Visual Producer will work under the supervision of the Communications Analyst and overall guidance of the Resident Representative. The key responsibilities include:

    1. Audio-Visual Content Creation

    • Produce high-quality video content to showcase UNDP projects, initiatives, and events.
    • Edit raw footage into compelling stories for social media, websites, and public engagement platforms.
    • Create motion graphics and short animations to enhance video presentations.

    2. Photography

    • Capture high-quality images at UNDP events and activities.
    • Edit and organize photographs for effective storytelling and brand consistency.

    3. Social Media and Digital Content Support

    • Provide multimedia support for digital campaigns, including video clips, graphics, and interactive content.
    • Work closely with the communications team to ensure consistent and engaging messaging across platforms.

    4. Podcast and Audio Content Production

    • Plan, produce, and edit podcasts featuring interviews, stories, and discussions related to UNDP projects.
    • Develop voiceovers, soundscapes, and other audio elements to enhance digital campaigns.
    • Ensure professional-quality audio production, including sound editing, mixing, and mastering.

    5. Administrative and Asset Management

    • Maintain an organized library of multimedia assets, including videos, images, and templates.
    • Assist with the procurement process for multimedia services and equipment.

    6. Learning and Development

    • Gain a strong understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and UNDP’s global mission.
    • Share knowledge and expertise on audio-visual production techniques within the team.

    Required Skills and Competencies

    Core Competencies:

    • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
    • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
    • Familiarity with motion graphics tools like Adobe After Effects (an advantage).
