Requirements
- Essential Qualifications:
- Grade 12 – Matric or Senior Certificate
- BA in Commerce degree
- Advantageous:
- 1 year of work experience in Retail, preferably in Merchandise or Online environment
Duties:
- Ensure online products are presented attractively to stimulate customer interest and encourage purchases.
- Assist in strategically merchandising all products across various site pages (category listings, designer pages, trend pages).
- Maintain accurate product listings and display order.
- Regularly audit online product displays to ensure accuracy and appeal to customers.
- Adhere to Dis-Chem’s online merchandising standards and planograms.
- Stay informed about new products and maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
- Collaborate with Online Manager and Marketing teams to review and correct content for consistency and accuracy.
- Assist with product listing and display, including checking links, updating databases, and uploading product images.
- Source images for all products listed online.
- Update existing and create new online product descriptions.
- Ensure all online content is displayed correctly.
