    Internship Overview

    SANSA is looking for a qualified Electronics Engineering graduate to join its team for a learning opportunity at the Hartebeesthoek satellite tracking station. This internship will provide candidates with hands-on experience in satellite ground station operations and RF telecommunications.

    Key Responsibilities

    Interns will be required to:

    • Operate, maintain, and monitor antenna systems, radio frequency (RF) equipment, and electronic telecommunications hardware and software.
    • Assist in specialised tracking, telemetry, and command (TT&C) launch support services, including support for satellite launch vehicles (SLVs), transfer-orbit support (TOS), launch and early-orbit phase (LEOP), and routine life-cycle operations.
    • Perform preventative and first-line reactive maintenance on SANSA-owned or stakeholder/customer-owned systems and infrastructure.
    • Engage in ad-hoc project tasks as needed.
