    Purpose:

    • Management Reporting: Analyze and compile management reports while maintaining general accounting policies and procedures.
    • SCM Service: Ensure that Supply Chain Management (SCM) services meet required service levels and satisfy customer needs.
    • Supplier Relationships: Maintain effective and positive supplier relationships.
    • Cost Efficiency: Ensure SCM practices are cost-effective and add value.
    • Incident Management: Effectively manage incidents, problems, and change processes.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    • Education: BCom in a relevant field or B Degree in Supply Management (essential).
    • Management Training: Certificate in First Line Management (essential).

    Experience:

    • Relevant Experience: At least 5 years in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Finance.
    • SAP Knowledge: Extensive experience with SAP MM and FI modules (essential).

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Business Performance and Operations:

    • Financial Accuracy: Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards for finance service delivery.
    • Reconciliation: Reconcile transactions across cost and financial management systems.
    • Reporting: Assist with financial reports, budget forecasts, and strategic planning.
    • Variance Analysis: Identify and analyze budget variances.
    • Audit and Risk: Implement preventative audit and risk management processes.
    • Asset Management: Maintain the fixed asset register and internal controls.
    • SAP Integrity: Ensure accuracy of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) data on SAP.
    • Procurement Strategy: Execute the procurement strategy and address Procure to Pay queries.
    • Month-End Closure: Coordinate month-end transactions in SCM and financial accounting.

    Commercial, Logistics, and Supplier Control:

    • Contract Evaluation: Provide commercial and financial inputs for contractor and supplier evaluations.
    • Compliance: Ensure adherence to preferential procurement targets and supplier performance.
    • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate procurement risks.
    • Procurement Practices: Manage procurement according to standards and guidelines.

    Compliance, Governance, and Assurance:

    • Service Compliance: Ensure SCM and financial services comply with legal and corporate governance standards.
    • Risk Monitoring: Monitor risks and assist with audits.
    • Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
    • Safety Targets: Meet Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) targets.

    Customer, Stakeholder, and Client Relationship Management:

    • Supplier Performance: Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and KPIs.
    • Contract Management: Manage contract renewals and liaise with financial managers.
    • Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with internal clients and external providers.
    • Representation: Represent SCM at forums and presentations.

    Functional Excellence:

    • Policy Adherence: Follow functional policies, standards, and procedures.
    • Process Improvement: Standardize and improve functional processes.
    • Best Practices: Apply and share functional best practices.

    Material/Resource Planning and Control:

    • Stock Management: Plan and manage stock levels and service requirements.
    • Stock Optimization: Optimize stock items and manage stock codifications.
    • Internal Controls: Ensure regular stock counts and audit procedures.

    People Management:

    • Performance Focus: Foster a high-performance environment and support team development.
    • Teamwork: Promote teamwork and manage performance through development plans.
