    Requirements:

    • Grade 10 or Grade 12 qualification
    • 3 to 5 years of driving experience
    • Valid Code 10 (C) driver’s license with PDP (willing to renew at own expense)
    • Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS) Act, Batho Pele Principles, and Government Fleet and transport policies (an advantage)
    • Ability to perform routine tasks effectively
    • Capability to work well under pressure
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication abilities
    • Sound human relations skills

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Deliver clean linen and collect soiled linen from hospitals and clinics.
    • Count linen bags before uploading and off-loading under the supervision of supervisors.
    • Transport food to client hospitals.
    • Inspect vehicle before and after each trip.
    • Report any vehicle faults to the Transport Officer.
    • Ensure vehicles are fumigated before and after every delivery.
    • Adhere strictly to Health and Safety Policies.
    • Follow transport policies and regulations.
    • Maintain punctuality in all assignments.
    • Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
