Key Responsibilities
The HR Learner (OD) will play a crucial role in supporting the Organisational Development team by:
- Organisational Structure and Job Design: Assisting in the design and documentation of organizational structures and job descriptions.
- Documentation Maintenance: Keeping all OD-related documents updated and accessible on the Intranet and HR drives.
- Database Management: Maintaining an accurate database of job descriptions and profiles across the group.
- Job Description Review: Regularly reviewing and updating job descriptions to reflect organizational changes.
- Project Support: Managing and tracking OD project plans and deliverables.
- Administrative Support: Providing support for talent reviews, performance management, succession planning, and other OD initiatives.
- Research and Development: Conducting research to enhance current OD offerings.
- Competency Mapping: Assisting with the implementation of competency mapping.
- Workshop Coordination: Coordinating OD workshops as needed.
- File Management: Ensuring a systematic and timely updated filing system for OD information.
- Report Preparation: Preparing reports, presentations, and research materials.
- Policy Adherence: Adhering to Dis-Chem policies, standard operating procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12/Matric or Senior Certificate and a post-matric certification in Human Resources Management or a relevant field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of administrative experience.
Essential Competencies
- Basic HR knowledge.
- Problem-solving abilities and escalation awareness.
- Effective written communication skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Adherence to procedures and quality standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Special Conditions
- Must be a South African citizen.
