Key Responsibilities
Analysis
- Monitor and analyze employee attendance in the sales environment.
- Provide feedback to line managers and ensure concerns are addressed per company policy.
- Support HR Business Partners with performance improvement mediation sessions.
- Analyze attrition trends to identify patterns and recommend solutions.
Administration
- Review and recommend changes to disciplinary warnings.
- Assist with disciplinary hearings for desertion cases and communicate outcomes.
- Conduct exit interviews and update attrition reports for HR analysis.
- Draft and maintain job descriptions for new and existing roles.
- Assist with CCMA preparation and HR document management through PaySpace.
Employee Support
- Provide guidance to line managers and team leaders on HR best practices.
- Promote employee wellbeing and professionalism within the organization.
- Facilitate induction and onboarding processes, ensuring new employees sign off on policies and contracts.
Minimum Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications and experience:
- Educational Background: Matric with a Diploma or Degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management.
- Experience: 3–5 years in an HR Officer role, preferably in a call center environment.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA).
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and exceptional interpersonal abilities.
