    Job Purpose:

    The IT Technician will be responsible for managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure estate at Sea Harvest. The role involves providing support and serving as a point of escalation for L1 IT Technicians. Candidates should have an in-depth understanding of Microsoft services, networking, end-user computing, as well as experience in both cloud and on-premises hosted infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Continuously monitor and analyse the performance of the end-to-end IT infrastructure.
    • Conduct hands-on work with emerging technologies, including configuring, testing, tuning, and troubleshooting infrastructure components.
    • Perform data analysis to improve infrastructure health, monitor application performance, and troubleshoot production issues.
    • Ensure smooth operation of applications by managing system resources and availability.
    • Perform operational tasks to resolve all incidents and requests in a timely manner, adhering to the agreed SLA.
    • Display interest and initiative in Microsoft technologies, with a focus on Azure cloud solutions.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Educational Qualifications:
      • Grade 12 or equivalent.
      • A+, N+, S+.
      • Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) or equivalent certification.
      • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) or equivalent certification.
    • Beneficial Certifications:
      • MS Azure Fundamentals – AZ-900.
      • MS 365 Fundamentals – MS-900.
      • MS Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals – SC-900.
      • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
    • Additional Skills:
      • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
      • Project management.
      • Extensive knowledge of on-premises Windows Server solutions and Hybrid Cloud solutions.
      • Proficiency in VMware and virtualization technologies.
      • Strong understanding of networking, including LAN, WAN, security, wireless, voice, and SD-WAN technologies.
      • Experience administering and operating enterprise infrastructure and services in public cloud environments, including configuration of backups, monitoring, patching, and securing cloud resources.
    • Experience Requirements:
      • 5+ years of IT End User Support experience.
      • 3+ years of Server/Network support experience.
    • Other Requirements:
      • Driver’s License and access to own transport.
