Junior Helpdesk Consultant Job Description
The Junior Helpdesk Consultant will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. This role involves direct interaction with customers, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient resolution of issues.
Main Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Problem-Solving: Walk customers through the problem-solving process, ensuring they understand the steps taken to resolve their issues.
- Follow-Up: Follow up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved satisfactorily.
- Help Desk Operation: Support the operation of the help desk and serve as a focal point for customer concerns.
- Issue Resolution: Identify, research, and resolve technical problems for end-users on various issues.
- Communication: Respond to telephone calls, emails, and personnel requests for technical support from local and remote customers.
- Reporting: Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur and propose solutions.
