    Learning and Development Coordinator Position Overview:

    Role and Responsibilities

    The Learning and Development Coordinator will join the dedicated HR team to support the delivery of effective training initiatives, both digital and offline. The key responsibilities of this position include:

    1. Training Content Management
      • Assist in developing and managing content for the Genesis Academy, including training videos and learning materials.
      • Ensure accurate documentation for the organisation’s Learning Management System (LMS), preferably Moodle.
    2. Induction and Training Support
      • Coordinate logistical and administrative aspects of annual inductions and training programs.
      • Provide opportunities for facilitation and content development.
    3. Reporting and Compliance
      • Compile and submit skills development reports to South Africa’s Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) to ensure compliance.
      • Monitor and report on L&D spending, particularly for BEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) compliance.
    4. Record Maintenance
      • Maintain precise and up-to-date training records in alignment with internal policies and procedures.

    • Familiarity with designing and implementing both digital and offline learning materials.
    • Experience in evaluating training program effectiveness through various metrics.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Google applications.
