Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background:
- Grade 12/Matric Certificate or NCV Level 4.
- A relevant one-year qualification in teaching, facilitation, or a related field.
- Professional Registration:
- A certified and registered Moderator qualification with the relevant SETA for Wholesale & Retail Operations (NQF Level 2).
- Experience:
- A minimum of one year of experience in teaching, facilitation, or assessment.
- At least one year of practical experience in the moderation field.
- Other Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong computer literacy and administrative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently within set time frames.
Key Responsibilities
The role of the Internal Moderator includes but is not limited to:
- Moderation of Portfolios:
- Review and moderate Portfolios of Evidence (PoE) submitted for the Wholesale and Retail Learnership (NQF Level 2).
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with assessors, facilitators, and the project manager.
- External Moderation Preparation:
- Arrange PoEs for external moderation and assist with verifications, ensuring clarifications are provided if requested by the SETA.
- Reporting:
- Compile comprehensive moderation reports.
- Support During Verifications:
- Be available to provide insights or additional documentation when required.
