Key Responsibilities
The Marketing Officer will report to the Hospital Manager and Group Marketing Manager and will manage a range of marketing activities to promote the Cure Day Hospitals brand. Responsibilities include:
- Stakeholder Relations:
- Foster strong relationships between key stakeholders, including doctors, medical practitioners, medical funders, and suppliers.
- Actively recruit new doctors and maintain relationships with existing ones, encouraging referrals among medical professionals.
- Marketing Strategy Ownership:
- Develop and implement hospital-specific marketing strategies to support Cure Day Hospitals’ vision.
- Engage in targeted marketing through various channels, including social media, website, and print media.
- Event Management:
- Organise and manage internal events, corporate social events, open days, and sponsorships that build community connections.
- Plan and execute CPD (Continuing Professional Development) programs for doctors.
- Marketing Collateral:
- Plan, create, and execute various forms of marketing materials to enhance brand visibility.
- Coordinate community projects that align with the organisation’s social responsibility goals.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain and update a doctor database and manage hospital and individual budgets.
- Collect and report on patient survey results and feedback from doctors and reception staff.
- Submit a monthly marketing report and end-of-month documents, including credit card reconciliations, marketing inventory logs, and other essential administrative records.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Candidates for the Marketing Officer role should meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualifications:
- A Grade 12 certificate and a relevant marketing qualification.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of marketing experience, ideally within a medium to large organisation.
- At least one year of experience within the medical industry, particularly in roles that involved engaging with doctors.
- Skills and Attributes:
- Demonstrated experience in building client relationships.
- Familiarity with online marketing, advertising, and performance assessment tools.
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
- High energy, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Creativity, interpersonal skills, and a collaborative spirit.
- Willingness to travel when required.
