    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Maintain an organized front office environment, ensuring systems are orderly, clean, professional, and neat.
    • Greet and direct prospective and current students, parents, and guests professionally.
    • Operate the switchboard efficiently, directing calls promptly and gathering relevant information for appropriate staff members.
    • Take detailed messages and deliver them promptly to the intended recipients.
    • Assist students with queries and direct them to the correct departments.
    • Manage intercom instructions effectively.
    • Organize flyers and fact sheets at Reception and support Marketing Assistants in maintaining neat waiting areas and interview rooms.
    • Order and distribute stationery to campus staff.
    • Ensure the security and locking up of campus buildings.
    • Provide administrative support to various departments as required.
    • Handle campus courier parcels, post, and deliveries, notifying relevant staff promptly.
    • Receive and distribute deliveries for the National office and campus staff.
    • Assist in booking appointments and managing diaries for the Full-Time Student Recruitment team.
    • Support campus events and assist with ad hoc duties as needed.

    Competencies Required:

    • Advanced verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in operating a switchboard.
    • Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective decision-making skills.
    • Ability to multitask and maintain organizational skills.

    Requirements:

    Minimum Education Requirements:

    • Minimum of a Matric qualification.

    Minimum Work Experience Required:

    • 1-2 years of reception experience.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Must have reliable transport.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as required.

    Shift Structure:

    • Monday – Friday: 8:00-17:00 or 7:00-16:00 (as required).
    • Saturdays: 8:00-13:00 (as required).
