    SACAP Foundation is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Office Administrator to join its growing team based in Woodstock, Cape Town. Below is a detailed description of the job requirements, responsibilities, and qualifications for this position.

    The South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP) is a leading provider of educational programs in psychology, counselling, and coaching. As part of its mission to impact social change through education, SACAP established the SACAP Foundation in 2018. This non-profit organization focuses on enabling access to mental health services and offering scholarships that empower individuals and communities across South Africa.

    Office Administrator Key Responsibilities

    The Office Administrator will play a central role in the smooth running of the SACAP Foundation’s office. This individual will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and supporting the broader team. Responsibilities include:

    • Managing Office Bookings and Schedules: Oversee the scheduling of appointments, meetings, and events to ensure smooth operations.
    • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to staff and clients, helping with inquiries and requests.
    • Office Task Management: Handle essential office duties such as billing, record-keeping, and electronic documentation.
    • Client and Staff Liaison: Act as the primary contact point for staff and clients regarding office matters, addressing concerns in a timely manner.
    • Use of Technology: Efficiently manage office technologies, including content management systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite applications.

    Required Qualifications and Experience

    The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications and experience:

    • Educational Background: A relevant Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred, although not mandatory.
    • Administrative Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing office tasks such as scheduling, billing, and electronic record management.
    • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Suite, with the ability to learn new systems with ease.
    • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for both internal and external communication.
    • Experience in Healthcare (Optional): While not a requirement, experience in the healthcare sector will be advantageous.
    • Language Skills: Xhosa-speaking candidates will have an added advantage, given the context and communities the foundation serves.

    Working Hours

    This position operates on a full-time basis, from Monday to Friday:

    • Monday to Thursday: 08:30 AM – 17:00 PM
    • Friday: 08:30 AM – 16:00 PM

    Note: Due to the nature of this role, there may be occasions where flexible working hours are required to accommodate specific duties.
