Role and Responsibilities:
As a Sales Assistant at Crocs Mall of the North, you will play an essential role in ensuring customers have an exceptional shopping experience. Your day-to-day duties include:
1. Customer Service & Sales
- Acknowledge every customer within 30 seconds of entering the store.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging and understanding customer needs.
- Use your product knowledge to help customers find the best products to meet their needs.
- Close sales effectively and secure add-on sales.
- Regularly monitor your daily sales to ensure you are meeting individual sales targets.
2. Inventory Management
- Replenish stock in the store daily, ensuring shelves are full and well-organized.
- Follow protocols to minimize stock loss, such as monitoring customers and adhering to store policies.
- Ensure all stock entries in the POS system are accurate and up-to-date.
- Process deliveries, tag, hang, and price items, and accurately record information in the POS system.
3. Daily Store Operations
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization by dusting, vacuuming, cleaning mirrors, and tidying up changing rooms.
- Assist the store manager with opening and closing the store, following all procedures.
4. Training and Development
- Take ownership of your training and development.
- Work closely with your allocated buddy and attend all quarterly training sessions.
- Participate in monthly feedback sessions with your store manager.
- Progress through the Hey Dude rookie pack to become eligible for promotions.
5. Merchandising
- Assist in maintaining stock presentation according to the store’s standards.
- Ensure that all displayed items are in good condition and neatly arranged.
- Help update windows and mannequins regularly.
- Store POS materials properly to prevent damage.
Requirements
To qualify for the Sales Assistant position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in customer service. Prior knowledge of Crocs products is advantageous.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, and flexibility to work various shifts.
