This learnership is a pivotal part of our young talent strategy and feeds directly into our Youth Empowerment Programme (YEP), creating a talent pipeline for our business. Successful and high-performing learners are retained permanently for junior-level roles through a focused development journey.
The Sanlam Learnership Opportunity Offers:
- A 12-month contract
- A monthly allowance and financial assistance for study purposes
- A national qualification (Certificate in Wealth Management, NQF Level 4)

Responsibilities
- Acquire Knowledge: Learn about company products, services, and operational processes and systems.
- Classroom-Based Lessons: Attend scheduled lessons to gain theoretical knowledge.
- Practical Onsite Training: Engage in hands-on training to apply what you’ve learned.
- Portfolio of Evidence: Compile and submit a portfolio to InSeta.
- Logbooks: Maintain logbooks for workplace-based learning.
- Assessments: Complete formative and summative assessments.
- Task Completion: Perform duties as assigned by your manager.
Minimum Requirements
- South African citizenship
- Currently unemployed
- Age between 18 and 35 years
- Passed Grade 12 with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics/Mathematics Literacy/Accounting and English
- Proficiency in English (read, write, and speak fluently)
- Willingness to commit to a 12-month programme, including a Certificate in Wealth Management, NQF Level 4
- Clear criminal and credit record
- Access to reliable transport
