The programme is an 18-month contract, commencing on 1 May 2025 and ending on 31 October 2026. Participants will receive a monthly learner allowance of R6 800 and medical aid benefits.

Roles and Responsibilities
As a Universal Banker Learner, participants will be trained to:
- Understand the full value chain of a Universal Banker.
- Develop strong sales and customer service skills.
- Analyse and process financial information efficiently.
- Gain knowledge of financial and regulatory frameworks.
- Understand customer demands and provide appropriate financial solutions.
- Resolve client inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Handle professional correspondence, ensuring high service standards.
- Demonstrate effective telephone and email etiquette.
Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for this learnership, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 30.
- Have successfully completed a post-matric three-year commerce-related qualification.
- Be computer literate.
- Have strong communication skills (able to read, write, and speak English fluently).
- Not be permanently employed.
- Not be currently studying at any institution.
- Not be enrolled in any other learnership or internship programme.

- Kwa-Zulu Natal – Durban, Howick, Pietermaritzburg, Dundee, Newcastle, Umlazi, Richards Bay, Empangeni.
- Northern Cape & Free State – Clocolan, Vrede, Brandwag, Bloemfontein, Kuruman, Springbok.
- North West – Marikana, Tower Mall (Klerksdorp), Vryburg.
- Gauteng – South (Boksburg, Brakpan) and North.
