    Preferred Qualifications

    • Grade 12/N3 or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a store or warehouse environment.
    • Familiarity with Navision, barcoding, and RFID systems is advantageous.

    • Residence in or willingness to relocate to Middelburg.
    • Availability for overtime as needed.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Equipment Management
      • Verify and list equipment for dispatch and receipt from customer sites.
      • Record equipment movements in the ERP system (Navision).
      • Conduct basic stock keeping, including binning, stock counts, and equipment preservation.
      • Reconcile stock quantities and asset numbers, addressing discrepancies between physical items and ERP inventory.
    • Operational Compliance
      • Adhere to safe working procedures and company operational standards.
      • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the general store.
      • Perform basic verification inspections on equipment before delivery to ensure quality.
    • Fleet and Transport Administration
      • Manage fleet administration and key control for fleet and office equipment.
      • Reconcile monthly fleet fuel expenses for the depot and sites.
      • Arrange transportation with the Bethal depot for plant and equipment delivery.
      • Schedule calibration, load tests, and servicing for Middelburg’s plant and equipment, and keep accurate records.
    • Record Keeping and Inspections
      • Maintain accurate records of plant and vehicle hours and service kits.
      • Schedule and oversee servicing of cranes, equipment, and vehicles.
      • Perform regular spot checks on plant equipment and vehicles.
      • Control and issue diesel for on-site usage.
      • Ensure all pre-inspection forms are current and available.
    • Additional Duties
      • Undertake any other job-related tasks as required.
