Key Responsibilities
As a Telesales Representative, your primary role will be to drive sales through the generation of new business and maintaining existing client relationships. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Selling Classified Advertisements: You will be responsible for selling classified ads for Central24 media publications, both in print and digital formats. This includes daily canvassing for advertisements and reaching out to potential clients.
- Client Liaison: Engaging with clients to discuss advertisement design, layout, and placement, ensuring their advertising needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Market Stimulation: Identifying new opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and stimulate the market by offering creative advertising solutions.
- Sales Targets: Achieving set sales targets and adhering to deadlines, contributing to the overall success of the sales department.
- Revenue Generation: Driving new revenue streams through proactive client engagement and effective sales strategies.
- Client Servicing and Growth: Maintaining relationships with current clients, providing exceptional service, and finding ways to grow their advertising portfolios.
- Query Management: Answering calls and emails promptly, assisting with various client queries related to advertising, payments, and other services.
- Administrative Duties: Logging all call details on the dashboard system, ensuring accurate classification and tracking for future reference. Providing feedback to clients and service providers on the status of their queries and resolving any outstanding issues.
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: A Senior Certificate is required. A tertiary qualification in marketing is highly advantageous.
- Skills:
- Proficient in computer use with good typing and spelling abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong language skills, with fluency in both Afrikaans and English.
- Exceptional telephone etiquette and the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in the media industry is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years in sales is essential.
